How similar are Kazakh and Sakha/Yakut? Both of these languages belong to Turkic group. Sakha language is mostly spoken in Yakutia, a federal republic of Russia, by 450 thousand native speakers. Kazakh language is spoken in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan and Russia, by 17 million native speakers.
