Create 24 inches (approx. 60 cm) of half hitch diamond and square knot pattern or enough length to wrap around your head. 4. Connect the two sides with another half hitch diamond. 5. Add additional fringe by attaching 48 inch (approx. 121 cm) pieces of string to the outer loops of the design using a larks head knot. 6. Trim the fringe to the desired length. 7.
