Gorr - Likstadberget

Likstadberget is the title track from the Gorr album named Likstadberget due this spring. The lyrics is about a place on the island Gossen that was named Likstadberget back in the days. Likstadberget translates somewhat into “Carcass debarkation hill“. It got its name when the surrounding islands used the place to bring the corpses on land from their sailboats from Sandøy and Oterøy. From there they where carried across the swamps into the church before being buried. Gorr is a norwegian black metal band with Skuggimaðr and Hateful Wind. All lyrics are in nynorsk.
