One of them allows transposing midi clips to the chord played in the keyboard, in the same way keyboard arrangers do. (This device has some latency, so chords must be played a bit earlier. The device has quanization to allow the chord played stay in time). The main arpeggio and bass use this technique. The other device holds the chord played in the keyboard until another chord is played and adds a root key note in key with the chord played. This device is used in the strings track.
