The Best Gymnast In The History Of Artistic Gymnastics: Tribute to Kohei Uchimura

In this year’s World Championships, I noticed something, a lot of the media had been focusing on the controversial judging made during the women’s AA in which people began to wonder if somehow the medal winners were a fixed deal between judges. Whatever the case was, as a result of that, much of the attention was pointed at the wrong person during this Championships. So, please, for three minutes, forget about Wieber, forget about Komova, forget about the CoP and concentrate on the guy who rightfully and without a doubt stole the show from everyone else. As the fearless Kohei Uchimura made history in home soil, packed with some of the most daring and precise routines any gymnast could have had. What still amazes people throughout the globe is that the absolute best of Kohei is still to come, for the 2012 Olympics are just less than a year away and as most people know, he still has much more to achieve in this sport.
