Teacher Turns Her Classroom Into Real-Life Hogwarts

For Staci Lamb, 28, the Harry Potter books transformed her into a reader. Now, she’s inspiring her own students with the wonder of books by transforming her classroom into a real-life Hogwarts. Lamb teaches ninth grade at Elkton High School in Maryland. She said she spent the past month converting her plain public school classroom into a magical place using items she found at thrift stores. Lamb told she thinks it’s important to show “magic can happen in public schools.“
