The Legend of Zelda - Main Theme (Metal Cover) || Shady Cicada

It honestly baffles me how I never covered the main theme from my favorite video game series of all time. The Legend of Zelda has been with me since maybe Ocarina of Time. My dad and I played Super Smash Bros N64 and thought Link was cool, so we rented OoT. What came after were some of the best memories of my life. Running through Zelda with my dad and cousin, freaking out over all the scary enemies, and just getting emotional throughout the whole soundtrack. The fact that video games and music collided in such a way that I could turn it into a career really makes this cover even more sentimental. It might not be anything super special, but it felt really good to track this one. I hope you enjoy my metal cover of the Main Theme from The Legend of Zelda! Who would have thought I’d go from “green man with sword is pretty cool“ to someone who lives off of zelda lore and theories. Wouldn’t have it any other way. -Support me on Patreon- ► -FOLLOW ME- ► Subscribe: ► BandCamp: ► Twitch: ► Twitter: ► Instagram: -MERCH- ► -CREDITS- Current Balloon Boy avatar drawn by Dorsa Bidhendi: Shady Cicada Banner drawing by ShyGuyXXL: -EQUIPMENT- Guitars: Ibanez RGR652AHBF Prestige, Fender American Elite Telecaster, Schecter Banshee Elite 6 (with Seymour Duncan Alpha/Omega Pick ups) Bass: Fender American Performer Precision Bass, Ibanez Soundgear Strings: Elixir “Light-Heavy“ Orchestra: East West Symphonic Orchestra (Gold Version) Synths/Synth Drums/Various Instruments: Xpand!2 Interface: Line 6 UX2 Audio Software (DAW): Cubase 5 (for video capturing) & Cubase 10 Pro Tone Software: POD Farm 2 & Bias FX Drums: Superior Drummer 2.0 Mixing/Mastering Software: Izotope 5 Video Software: Adobe Premiere Pro Video Camera: Canon Rebel T5i ► Sign up with Distrokid and get your music out there!
