Pearl gourami biotope (short version)

Short video of my 180x30x60cm shallow tank, 340 litres, currently set up to house a group of Pearl Gouramis (Trichopodus leerii) and a couple of Wrestling Halfbeaks (Dermogenys pusilla), who, while filming this video, I noticed have produced fry! The plants in the tank are: Hygrophila polysperma Hygrophila sp. ’Tiger’ Nymphaea sp. Rotala hra I have used lots of leaf litter with a very fine layer of sand. The plants are in a plant-pot water tray with some aquarium soil. I do use Co2 injection but do not add fertilisers. The plants are really there to provide cover for the fish. Filtration is a large sponge with a powerhead, lighting is DIY LEDs and I have added a heater (set to 24C) now as winter has come to central Brazil and at night it gets cold.
