Former Shin Bet director Ami Ayalon says he would ‘fight against Israel’ if he was Palestinian

Ami Ayalon, a former director of Israel’s security agency Shin Bet, said if he were a Palestinian living under Israeli occupation that he would “fight against Israel” in order to “achieve liberty” during an interview with ABC’s John Lyons for a news report that was aired on Monday. He further added that in his view the only way Israelis would “have security” is when Palestinians “have hope”.
