’SCS’ stands for Secret Connecting System. Inside the PB-8 pedal board you will find a simple but ingenious connection system based on the RJ connector protocol that distributes both power and audio to each pedal (many telecommunication systems also use this as it’s light, stable and efficient). This means the traditional but antiquated ¼“ jack system is not needed thereby freeing up considerable real estate on the pedal board and making the whole package very neat. Also, it’s dead quiet and because the power is distributed to each pedal, only a single 9V DC feed is needed to any one of the pedals that goes on to power all of the other pedals. Great! All of this would mean little if the pedals didn’t sound good. Oh, but they certainly do. VERY good.
