Pathe offer to send women a paper pattern for gloves in return for a “stamped envelope“. Intertitle reads: “Glove making at home may seem a perilous venture, but it’s simple and economical. A wash leather - a paper pattern (which we’ll send you for a stamped envelope) or an old glove for a model are required.“ A woman draws around a pattern. She then cuts the leather. Intertitle reads: “If Adam’s away, his razor cuts quite nicely - but don’t tell him we told you!“. The gloves are hand sewn. The side of the leather is cut to make a fringe.
