Fly Geyser

Short video of a trip to the Fly Geyser in Gerlach Nevada with my friends Zach Green and Doug Kohn. The geyser has formed over the last hundred years around a drill bit that was left in the ground when a hot water aquifer was punctured during the drilling of a well. We left Truckee, CA at around sunset and stayed at Brunos Motel in Gerlach so we could get out to the geyser by sunrise. Afterwords we headed back home through the Smoke Creek Desert and around Pyramid Lake.
