Ulcinj is a famous multi-ethnic and tourist town in the South of Montenegro. According to historical data Ulcinj is one of the oldest towns on the Adriatic coast. It is thought that Ulcinj is more than years old. In this area for centuries the cultures of Orient and the West collided. Ulcinj, as the southernmost city at the Montenegrin coast, is also the owner of the longest beach at the Adriatic Sea. This is the Long Beach or Velika Plaza which is 14km long. Other beautiful and very popular beaches in Ulcinj are Ada Bojana (a unique river island with marvellous sandy beaches), Valdanos (a bay with old olive trees along the coast), Short Beach or Mala Plaza in the centre and many more.
