Directed by Stanley Kubrick

*** “In this life you have to be like everyone else - the perfect mediocrity; no better, no worse. Individuality’s a monster and it must be strangled in it’s cradle to make our friends feel confident. You know, I’ve often thought that the gangster and the artist are the same in the eyes of the masses. They are admired and hero-worshipped, but there is always present underlying wish to see them destroyed at the peak of their glory.“ Stanley Kubrick is one of those directors who broke the boundaries of conventional filmmaking and delivered works of masterpieces that stood the test of time unshakingly. Just like Bergman he is not afraid to question the essence of our existence, challenge what’s right and wrong. Through his masterwork and sometimes disturbingly conflicting scenes he makes you think about everything from simple human evolution to values of our society. I hope that you enjoy this video. To Stanley. _______________________________________________
