Parkway Drive - Sleepwalker (guitar cover)

Milestones: *5000 views - 20/10/10 This song really caught my attention! It was released on 18/05/10, as a teaser for the upcoming album, “Deep Blue“. I have never been more excited for a release! When Deep Blue drops, It’s going to make history in the heavy music archives. I just hope that every song is as epic as this! I am planning on doing more from this upcoming album, so make sure you SUBSCRIBE! I worked this out all by ear, with a bit of help from my friends’ cover (Shredmastakaos). Although a few bits were hard to hear, I am confident that this is pretty accurate. This song is just so groovie. The chunky metal riffs really give this song sustinence, making it appealing to a wide audience! The solo is a beautiful showcase of Jeff’s ability, and one of my all time favourite Parkway Drive solos! Jeff, you’re a legend!! This song was a bit of a hastle as I had to change my tuning, which is tedious with a floyd rose system, but I managed to do it. However I must note that the current strings I am using (12-54) are a bit loose in Drop A#, so they do sound a bit ’tiny’ in this video. Hopefully this wont be too noticeable to you. Sorry for the mistakes, they are all due to lack of practice and a few transcription errors. I have realised that the verse riff is slightly different and the breakdown is incorrect (the way I play it in this video). I may redo this cover in the future, so watch out for that. Sorry I do not have tabs and do not have time to write them! Thanks for watching!
