Bad Company ~ Can’t Get Enough 1974 Extended Meow Mix

After creating one classic rock tune “All Right Now“ with Free, Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke recruited Mott The Hoople’s Mick Ralphs and King Crimson’s Boz Burrell and formed Bad Company in 1973. Peter Grant who managed Led Zeppelin, took on Bad Company and signed them to the fledgling Swan Song label and was the label’s first release. Rodgers chose the name Bad Company from a Victorian book of morals that had an innocent child looking up at an unsavory character leaning against a lamp post that was captioned “Beware of bad company“. Recorded in England, their 1974 debut contained the hit singles “Can’t Get Enough“ and “Movin’ On“ that powered the album to the top spot on the albums chart and earned five times platinum status becoming the 46th best selling album of the 1970’s.
