Israeli Ground Offensive Imminent

Israel announced a large-scale land, air, and sea invasion, with tens of thousands of soldiers ordered to capture Gaza City. Israel’s military aims to completely eradicate the political and military structures of the Gaza ruling armed group. However, journalists on the ground fear a war against all of Gaza. Israel’s warfare in the run-up to the imminent ground invasion has targeted Gaza’s civilian population with non-stop bombardment, a “total blockade,“ and scorched earth tactics. The assault is expected to risk months of bloody urban combat. Gaza’s resistance groups have announced their preparedness for this scenario and released videos suggesting their guerrilla warfare tactics.
