Fun fact: despite the series’ title, there is only one samurai in the game, and that’s Jubei who serves the Tokugawa Shogunate. One might make the case that Yoshitora is a samurai, but as the acting Shogun he’s sort of both. Yashamaru *was* a samurai up until the Tokugawa eradicated his clan; as a clanless samurai, he’s technically a ronin. All other swordsmen like Haohmaru, Genjuro, and Shizumaru are also ronin.
