Horse that led Queen’s funeral procession to Windsor Castle dies

The horse which led the Queen’s funeral procession to Windsor Castle has died at the age of 13. Aurora, also known as “Doris“ by Thames Valley Police, walked at the front of the procession up the Long Walk on 19 September 2022. She was put down after suffering a ruptured ligament.
