Zheng ’21 - Live Perfomance by Kaya Project (Seb Taylor)

The latest EP from Kaya Project is based on an original 6 minute musical meditation. OUT NOW on bandcamp :) This live GuZheng performance has been reworked into Drum & Bass, Trance, Ambient, Downtempo Glitch & Bassy Versions. One of my favourite Instruments, The Chinese GuZheng. I was lucky enough to acquire this magnificent Zheng about 10 years ago, although it is so big it rarely gets set up in my small studio! I dusted it off & immediately fell into “The Zone’ while playing. The resultant live recording is the basis for this 6 track EP. Including a wonderful Drum & Bass Remix by none other than Ivan Shopov (AKA Cooh, Balkansky) as well as a Trance remix, Ambient remix, Downtempo Breaks remix, & a Hibernation Jazzy-Glitch Mix.
