Live Alone in the Middle Wild Forest Taiga Far From Civilization In Russia Today we are in the village of Far Kezek. This is a dying village, which is located in the middle of the taiga, on the banks of the Kezek river, which flows into the Mrassa. In the past, there was a large village with a population of more than 300 inhabitants. By nationality they were Shors. But they left these places due to inaccessibility. It is impossible to get here by car or boat. People used horses and trodden a small path along the Kezek River. In 2021, there was a fire here and all the houses burned to the ground. To date, only one family of 3 lives here. It was in this family that we visited and they showed their way of life: gathering hay, cooking in a summer kitchen, which is almost 100 years old, with a roof covered with birch bark, an earthen floor and a bonfire in the middle of the room. We are interested in learning how our ancestors lived, to study their traditions and to master ancient crafts and meals.
