Tornado destroys Valley View Cooke County, 7 dead Seven people died, including two children, after severe storms triggered Tornado Warnings in several North Texas counties on Saturday evening, causing extensive damage in Cooke and Denton counties. Cooke County Sheriff Ray Sappington, confirmed seven fatalities and 20 injuries in Saturday night’s storm.
