Plans to cheat pensioners in Britain of a decent standard of living by abandoning the Triple Lock

It is being claimed that maintaining the state pension so that it keeps pace with rising prices is no longer possible; that Britain has not the money to pay for it. In other words, providing a barely adequate income for those who have spent their lives paying National Insurance contributions is a frivolous luxury which we can ill afford.
