How much she has changed since she first met guts and all her conflicted feelings she has for him, casca and her brother. Even how she looks at herself. Since re-reading Berserk this year, I’ve really focused on her the most. Collecting pictures and just trying to understand her more to brainstorm this video. She has become one of my favorites. Now that we are getting more chapters I’m so excited to see more of her development! I’ve been working on this video off and on for a good while. I had a huge love and hate relationship with it. Took me about 6 months to finally get to how I wanted it to look. Been thinking about it so much I seriously started dreaming about how I wanted it to look. A lot of these ideas came from my dreams pffff. I always thought the lyrics to this song really tells her story, but I didn’t feel REM’s original style fit her.
