Duchess of Sutherland passing through Dawlish - South Devon Explorer

On Saturday 28th May the “South Devon Explorer“ rail charter from Woking to Plymouth passed through Dawlish and Teignmouth powered by LMS 6233 Duchess of Sutherland. The train stopped at Dawlish Warren to allow the Paddington to Penzance service express to pass it. The good news is that this magnificent locomotive is booked to haul the three Royal Duchy expresses in July, August and September of 2022.
