GAME RECAP: Penguins at Lightning () | Petry and Zucker Strike Twice in Tampa

The Penguins continued along on their road trip, heading to the Sunshine State to take on the Lightning for the second time in a week. Tampa Bay struck first in the opening period of play to take a 1-0 lead into the intermission. Kris Letang exited the game on the goal after taking a puck to the face but would later return. Jeff Petry lit up the scoreboard in the second, tallying back-to-back goals within 30 seconds of ice time to put the Penguins out front. The Lightning would end up answering back with a score of their own but Jason Zucker regained the lead for Pittsburgh with his 18th goal on the season. The third period of play was a lot of back and forth. Tampa Bay would lead it off with a score which Drew O’Connor would answer to, but the Lightning would ultimately tie things up once again, 4-4, to force overtime. Pittsburgh would get that last laugh though as Jason Zucker netted one home for the Penguins victory. With this win, Pittsburgh has now won four-straight and completed a season series sweep on
