It’s Lois here, today’s limited colour palette demo uses only 4 colours: alizarin crimson, raw sienna, Payne’s grey and burnt umber to paint an ethereal misty riverbank scene. I’m using Saunders Waterford cold pressed paper, 11“ x 15“/28cms x 38cms, but use whichever size you prefer. The focus is on painting loose, concentrating on staying loose and creating the misty atmosphere.
