He was a compulsive eater, an alcoholic, a drug addict, had never enjoyed a serious relationship, and was on the verge of ending his own life. After meeting Magic Schwarz, the inspiration for Mickey Rourke’s character in The Wrestler, Mike gained a friend, a mentor, and found a new inspiration. Professional wrestling became his rehab.
