A Blissful & Serene Walk at First Light Through a Cotswold village

So, today we are out and about walking in the Cotswold village of Miserden (pronounced Mizzer-Den). The village is a civil parish which is located 4 miles north east of stroud in the county of Gloucestershire. At the last census the population was 449. Like a lot of Cotswold villages Miserden was mentioned in the Domesday Book. The village church which is C of E and is named St Andrew and of Saxon origins. The village has its own quaint little shop which also provides a post office service. The village local is the Carpenters Arms which is very typical of the 16th Century Cotswold style. Probably the biggest attraction of Miserden is the Manor house, whereby its beautiful walled gardens are open to the public, which is part of the Miserden estate. There is also a cafe on site. The estate has been owned by the Wills family since 1913. The gardens are not featured in this video.
