Donald Trump slams anti-Israel protests at Columbia University

Former US President Donald Trump has slammed President Joe Biden and anti-Israel protesters seen at Columbia University. Trump spoke to reporters on Tuesday at Trump Tower before meeting former Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso. The former president blasted Columbia’s decision to close the campus and urged the school to “gain a little strength” and “courage”. “Well, we have a lot of different things, but what’s going on with the colleges and they’re closing Columbia now? I mean, it’s just crazy,” he said. “Columbia should gain a little strength, a little courage and keep their school open.” The 77-year-old’s comments came after Columbia announced it was moving all classes online due to safety concerns for its students.
