One of a series of Soundies -- 1940s music videos intended to be played in a special video jukebox -- this one “Linda Brown“ features the African American band The Musical Madcaps and was produced and directed by William Forest Crouch. It dates to 1943 and one reviewer called it a “hot number“ and noted true to form that the MadCaps practically “tear apart the scenery before the number is finished.“
