How to Service Your Fuel Pump and Replace the Fuel Filter

In this video you’ll learn how to troubleshoot, remove and replace the fuel pump in an Airtronic D2 heater. The most common reason for replacing a fuel pump is a CODE 48 when you run a diagnostic test. But before you rush to replace the fuel pump, there’s a quick test you can do to verify it does, in fact, need replacing. So be sure to watch this video and learn that simple test. It just may save you some money. The second issue covered in this video is how to replace the fuel filter on the inlet side of the pump. The two most common reasons for replacing the fuel filter are no-starts and if the heater continuously smokes during operation.
