Our LEGO collection All children learn best when they use their hands.

✨ All children learn best when they use their hands. ✨ This is scientifically proven and talked about for ages in pedagogical circles, but I’ve noticed that my parents need a push and support to be able to understand and apply these strategies after class. ✨💚 I decided to introduce LEGO models in each thematic unit across all 4 levels of my curriculum because it helps children with: 🎃 Vocabulary enrichment - Thematic LEGO model building in a fall theme exposes children to a variety of fall-related words and phrases. 📝 Storytelling and descriptive speaking - Building fall-themed LEGO models encourages children to create stories or descriptions related to their creations. This storytelling aspect not only fosters their imagination but also enhances their ability to express themselves in English. They learn to describe their models, characters, and scenarios, improving their descriptive speaking skills. 🎭 Role-play and communication - When children build fall-themed LEGO models, they often engage in role-playing scenarios. This imaginative play requires them to communicate with others, negotiate roles, and express their ideas in English. Through this interaction, they enhance their conversational and interpersonal communication skills, making them more proficient in English. I simply cannot put the models to a public voting and I have no heart to rank any models so I have created a school-wide digital LEGO museum where all of the models will be on display inside of our school platform. 📢Did you ever use LEGOs with your child to engage them in conversation? 📢Group classes are reopening in 2024, so drop a message if you want your child to experience a classroom like this :) #lego #legosforkids #falllegos #englishforkids #esl #eslteacher
