Please keep the Los Angeles County Fire Department’s family in your thoughts and prayers A Los Angeles County firefighter was killed in the line of duty in an incident involving a vehicle fire or explosion in Littlerock, authorities confirmed Friday. At Approximately 1:56 The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a Vehicle at 62nd St e and Ave T in the City of Palmdale. While Fire Fighters were battling the vehicle an explosion occurred killing one Firefighter and injuring another. This is an active investigation, no information as in what station or names have been released. L.A. County Fire Department: A press conference regarding the line-of-duty death of one of our firefighters will be at 6:00 p.m. at Antelope Valley Medical Center, 44151 15th Street West, Lancaster, CA 93534 (next to the City of Hope building).
