Jared is very openly vegan, and takes pride in his efforts to be eco-friendly as often as he can. “Beyond the Horizon“ - a series about the future of the Humanity in which Jared discusses Global Problems with various fascinating and marvelous minds of the world. Boyan Slat is a Dutch inventor, entrepreneur and aerospace engineering student who works on methods of cleaning plastic waste from the oceans. He designed a passive system for concentrating and catching plastic debris driven by ocean currents. We should fix this planet before we try to fix a different one. Where will we end up in a hundred years? Why does it all matter? Why bother? What is the worse scenario? Is there a happy ending here, what will happen? What about space and its pollution?
