My goal was simple: Keep pedaling as long as possible to get from Merritt to Fernie in under 3 days time. Sleep and comfort can wait. The BC Epic 1000 follows a mix of service roads, double track, and single track along a good portion of the Trans Canada Trail. A 1040km race from Merritt to Fernie!
