Replica of the Bolin Ruby Lotus Tiara

The original was created in 1874, by the Russian jeweller Bolin, for Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna, of the Romanov dynasty. It had faceted rubies, which were later replaced with cheaper cabochon rubies. Some of this replica’s faux rubies are acrylic, and lack the depth and sparkle of crystal rhinestones.
