Cursed 3 - Longplay (No Commentary)

This game contains scenes of violence and gore. Viewer discretion is advised. Cursed 3 is the third entry in a trilogy of games created by Disaster Squad in 2022. Like the previous games, it was made with Game Maker 8, and it is available for free on Steam, and Gamejolt. It is a game full of content that I do attempt to explore every faucet of. This game is about double the length of Cursed 2 if you know what you are doing, and with a much more frantic combat system that requires situational awareness and smart item management. I made this longplay with the intent to show off everything I could find, and to work as a video guide. This is why I leave certain items where they are to keep inventory management to a minimum, as well as show where you can find those items when you need them for certain sections. From Chapter 3 onward, there had been moments where I did meander either for grinding or waiting for day-night cycles to get done. The video contains notes to when this happens. There were also a few times where I did end up perishing and cut that out, as well as fading between saves in later chapters. I really did enjoy Cursed 3. It has a lot more going on and it works as a great conclusion to the trilogy. The fact that these were given away for free feels like I am stealing them. Although the engine is prone to crashes during certain anomalies, part of why I saved as often as I did, it’s still an enjoyable experience. It’s much more action packed than the previous game while still emphasizing horror elements, sort of like a Resident Evil game, with touches of panic-horror in there. Personally, I prefer Cursed 2. Also, the music was sourced from other video games and a few other artists. * One last note concerning the 6x6 Dragon slider puzzle: I did go in with a plan in mind. Having gotten better at slider puzzles, my focus was on getting the first three rows solved, then the bottom row. What I didn’t think to do was to get the opposite columns solved too and try to close it in from there. This is why there was more time dedicated to that puzzle alone. That said, don’t be intimidated. For the 4x4, cover each row from top to bottom; leaving alone what you solved. For the 6x6, focus on the top three rows, then the bottom row, then the far left and far right columns, and the puzzle will fall into place in no time. -------- Play the Cursed Trilogy (and Karl’s Kooky Warehouse) for free!
