Rocket attacks launched near Afghan presidential palace as leaders attend Muslim festival prayers

Subscribe to our YouTube channel for free here: At least three rockets landed near the presidential palace in Afghanistan on July 20, 2021, disrupting an outdoor prayer ceremony attended by Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and a group of other leaders to mark the start of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha. It was the first rocket attack on the capital Kabul since the Taliban launched a series of offensives to coincide with the final drawdown of foreign troops from the war-wracked country.
