Full title reads: “The King Inspects Dover Patrol“. Dover, Kent. VS. of King George VI inspecting and decorating men of the Dover patrol on the quay at Dover in a driving wind and slight snow falling. VS. of ferry docking and troops of the BEF (British Expeditionary Force) coming ashore on leave from France, the King watches from the dockside, still snowing. A soldier on the ship raises a captured German helmet on his rifle. Shots of troops coming ashore.
