Make a Model Tree That You Can be Proud of: Wire Tree Tutorial

If you want to push the limits of realism for your wire model trees, this video might be your answer. I’ve show how-to build this highly detailed wire tree using some easy techniques. If that sounds like fantasy, then keep watching. :) This particular tree is made as a medium size tree in HO scale which can pass as a large tree in N Scale (The leaves might create some issues in smaller scales of course). To build this tree you need: 1. A bunch of florist wire 2. Some multi strand electrical wire - thicker the better 3. Some poly fiber 4. Spray paint and matte acrylic paint 5. An airbrush will help a long way but is not really necessary 6. Some dried leaves 7. Noch leaves of various colours 8.
