Welcome to Movie Shortens. The movie is based on a true event that happened in the 19th Century, in North-Western India, where the British suffered heavy losses at the hands of the Afghan tribes. Here, the British took the help of the Sikh Arm Forces, the only one that could oust the Afghans’ invasion. In 1890, the 36th Sikhs of the British Indian Army were stationed at three forts built amidst the Samana Mountains. They are Galistan, Lockhart and Saragarhi.
