I’ll admit, it was intimidating for me to sit and write something about Christmas, which might be one of the most written-about things in history (along with pickup trucks, of course). So I simply went to the songwriter’s drawing board and wrote what I knew. I knew that my favorite thing about the Gospel is that it’s the last thing you’d expect.
