“Pourpre“ will be featured on Passage’s upcoming album “Oblique“, on November 10 2023. Combining powerful yet soaring music, the band continues its musical exploration as a newcomer in the vast family that is Post-Rock. 100% instrumental, Passage takes the listener through a wide range of emotions: from the melancholy of a final farewell, sadness and isolation, of hope and the beauty of a comforting dream, all tinged with a certain fear and the sad reality of a world soon coming to an end. “Oblique“ represents what comes at us, often attacking us from the side, leaving us no time to find the words, nor the courage to face up to true reality. Leaving us on our own, our mind reacts in different ways: with anger, denial, or simply by letting go and accepting the suffering.
