Marilyn Manson LIVE on MTV “Beautiful People“ 1997

Talk about explosive performances! It’s probably a good thing this song closed the 1997 show, because other than AC/DC, Rage Against The Machine and probably Metallica, I doubt any other band up for honors would have wanted to follow Manson. Then try and imagine one of the really bad hairbands (were there any good ones, really?) from the 1980’s trying to follow this? No amount of glitter, hair gel and rehearsed preening could have hidden the fact that (Insert name) couldn’t play live and even if they didn’t completely suck, their songs did. Regardless of genre, it comes down to this for me: if I could, would I want to play in the best in your face, no bullshit band I’ve heard live in the last 20 years? And Marilyn Manson actually cares about the fans, in that Manson’s official website has to be the most complete and detailed resource for all things MM. Here’s a link into the Wiki section
