Gibson Bill Kelliher Halcyon Les Paul / Lace Dissonant Aggressors Pickups

A demo of the Gibson Bill Kelliher (Mastodon) Halcyon Les Paul, on loan from Gibson’s Australian distributor for a few days. I whipped this track up using the Halcyon tuned to E Standard but with the low E tuned down to A (and you’ll notice I’m playing careful not to whack that super-loose string too hard and send it out of tune except for a few times where I do it as a specific effect). This track was a one-take improvisation over a drum loop, and then I went back and added a guitar solo, a Bass VI track
