Now here’s something new for 2009 - a release of a new model of Fender Stratocaster from the US as a Limited Edition model, the most obvious cosmetic difference is the matching headstock which is finsihed in the same colour as the body - a rare feature these days ... Stocks of this model are strictly Limited as Fender has only released a few hundred for the entire UK market and colours available are Fiesta Red, Daphne Blue and Surf Green. This particular example has been finished in and eye-catching Fiesta Red and uses an Alder body and Maple neck with a 22 fret medium Jumbo fret Rosewood neck. Sound comes courtesy of 3 x American Strat Single Coil pick-ups that are managed via a 5 way blade type selector switch plus the standard configuration of two tone and a single volume control knob.
