Flooding in the east of Sydney, Australia! Sydney Airport has had 20 flights delayed due to flooding that hit the city on December 23. Flights were grounded and diverted interstate. Rescue operations are underway for people trapped inside their vehicles and as floodwater enters homes and garages. SES teams responded to almost 100 incidents. The worst hit suburbs were Rosebery, Pagewood, Malabar, Botany, East Gardens, Talisman and Maroubra.
