Trudeau questioned on report his office invited former Nazi to Zelenskyy reception

A new report in the Globe and Mail claims that an invite to Yaroslav Hunka, a former Nazi soldier, to a reception with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his visit to Canada last year came from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s office. In the House of Commons Tuesday, Conservatives questioned the Liberal government about the invite. Hunka did not accept the invite to the Toronto reception. “The prime minister’s been claiming for months that he had no involvement in or knowledge of the invitation of a former Nazi soldier to the visit of the Ukrainian president.
