Lyckeby Starch is a cooperative owned by some 800 farmers and located in southern Sweden. The company develops and produces potato starch and fibers for the global food and paper industry. Lyckeby works proactively to manufacture all products using environmentally friendly and sustainable methods. The company relies on two different Flottweg machines: A decanter Z6E to separate the protein from the liquid of the potatoes and a belt-press to dewater the potato fibers.
